The Adelaide Sarawak Alumni Scholarship

The scholarship is provided to support one student per annum who is enrolled in an undergraduate program of study at the University of Adelaide.  To be eligible for consideration an applicant must be a Malaysian citizenwho is currently enrolled as a full time undergraduate student in their second or subsequent year of study at the University of Adelaide.  Applicants must have completed at least one year of study at the University of Adelaide.

The successful applicant will display outstanding academic ability as well as documented demonstrated commitment to community service.  Academic merit will be assessed based on applicant’s cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) for the preceding year.
The Scholarship will provide an annual amount of $7,000AUD, payable in two instalments of $3,500AUD direct to the student following confirmation of enrolment at the census dates for a maximum of one year.

Undergraduate scholarship opportunities in Business, Law and Economics

The Faculty of the Professions’ Business, Economics and Law Undergraduate Scholarships are available to Malaysian, Vietnamese, Thai and Singaporean students who are studying an eligible pre-university program and are seeking entry into one of the priority programs in Semester 1 of 2012. The Scholarship provides a one-off payment for living allowances under the conditions described on the Faculty of the Professions website.

Eligibility Requirements

In order to be eligible for consideration a student must:
  • Have applied to study in one of the priority programs at the Faculty of the Professions and be offered admission into Semester 1 of 2012 at the University of Adelaide
  • Commence an academic program for the first time at the University of Adelaide (without advanced standing)
  • Be a citizen of the countries listed above
